2003 CFA Convention South Shore Circus Band

Prior to the performance of the the Big E Super Circus sponsored by Coca-Cola the Dick Whitmarsh's
"South Shore Circus Band" presented a concert of circus music. This performance was reminiscent of concerts given by circus bands at the beginning of the 20th century. Two circus fans, Dick and Connie Thomas of Dayton, Ohio were invited to participate in the concert.

2003 CFA Convention Tim Teggee

A favorite seminar of the convention was "A Trip Down Memory Lane" which featured circus stars of the past and present giving short talks about their experiences in the circus. Shown here is Tim Teggee who told of his love of the circus. Tim was born into the circus and has performed on many shows. Tim and wife Gigi live in Baraboo, Wisconsin. In addition to performing Tim is a collector of circus memorabilia.
