An exciting feature of the Big E experience is the daily Mardi Gras Parade held every afternoon at 5PM. This parade features beautiful Mardi Gras Floats, horse drawn wagons and bands from all over New England. Nice touch to a great fair.

2003 CFA Convention-Tommy Hanneford

On Tuesday evening following the circus performance produced by Tommy Hanneford, circus fans were treated to a reception and dinner under the Hanneford Big Top. The Big E presented Tommy and Struppi Hanneford with this silver set for their outstanding support of the Big E and the circus industry in general. Members of the Circus Fans Association of America are often invited to take part in events such as this which are not open to the general public. For most fans this is worth the price of membership.

2003 CFA Convention- Chinese Acrobats Tent

A popular attraction at the Big E was the Chinese Acrobats performing in their own tent. The lines to get into this attraction were unbelievable. One had to be in line at least 1/2 hour before show time to be admitted.
