It is a circus flea market. Shown here is Amos Bolieu of Manchester, New Hampshire. Amos had a unique sales strategy. He told you to pick out what you wanted and tell him what you would be willing to pay. That was the deal. I wondered what would happen if someone told Amos 50 cents?
