Nancy and Carlo Triberti

Duo Triberti began their artistic careers in 1985. Partners in real life as well in their art, Carlo and Nancy, both Italian, belong to one of Italy’s oldest Circus families: the Triberti family. The discipline that has brought them renown is acrobatic skating. Carlo and Nancy expertly execute risky spins on a small circular platform with diameter of only 1.65 metres. Nancy and Carlo create a thrilling atmosphere as she leaves the ground, seeming to fly free from her partner. They will appear in the City of Latina Circus Festival in October. Troupe Zola-Bascule

The Troupe Zola consists of nine young performers from Mongolia, in central Asia. Members of the Mongolian State Circus, the troupe Zola epitomizes the most ancient traditions of the Mongolian Circus. Their spectacular bascule number has already earned them a series of world records; the most significant parts of this performance, both from a technical and a riskiness point of view are: a backwards somersault onto a four-man column to create a column of five performers, a triple backwards somersault into a chair on a pole and a quintuple backwards somersault.
The Troupe Zola presents an additional banquine number characterized by choreography, music and costumes that evoke their home country, Mongolia. In this acrobatic discipline, the arms of the performers replace the bounce boards, and thanks to the impetus provided by them, the flyers in the group take off and execute their complex aerial somersaults: a double reverse somersault onto a three-man column and a backwards somersault onto a four-man column from the banquine are noteworthy elements in this performance.

Mou Qiang Yang Gang

Mou Quiang and Yang Gang are two young performers, both twenty-six years of age, from the People’s Republic of China. Mou Qiang and Yang Gang reinvent a classic of the Chinese Circus tradition: verticalism. Their performance is enhanced by the typically Chinese atmosphere of the number, evoked by the use of costume, music and props. A large iron structure is central to this number that requires great concentration as well as exceptional physical skill. At just over a month from the opening evening of the Festival on Thursday, October 18th at 9pm, the cast of competing performers is taking shape: 20 numbers have already been officially accepted to participate at the International Circus Festival – City of Latina.
