This venture will proceed ahead now that convention is over. My idea is to get member list from every youth circus in world. Then we would send them a 1 year Jr. membership free. 2 times a year a magazine geared towards their interest would be sent to them.
This will take money to start and already one $50 donation from George Bunnell of Vermont has been received. We could also take some money from Edith Johnson fund if this is allowed.
To survive we need new members and yes, younger members. Anyone interested in helping in any way ,money wise, or other please contact me or a committee member. Without the help of a sponsorship program and Coke and Feld Entertainment and all sponsors the convention could have lost money. Have we ever approached businesses to put ads in White Tops? This could help with costs.
We need to support this Youth program and this will also include a program to attract other members as well. There are many ways to raise money ,attract members and move forward.
