C. was treated to a rare sight Monday morning February 7, 2005 as the Ringling Brothers red and blue units came through the city within an hour of each other.  The red unit passed on its way from Charlotte to Raleigh. An hour later, the blue unit arrived from Greenville, S. C. for a five day run in Greensboro. Quite a few excited fans were on hand to watch this rare treat. The elephant walk was also well attended. The unloading was also a great attention getter. The circus still gets great publicity and respect and Greensboro is a circus city!
