Ever wonder how the circus moves smoothly from lot to lot? What happens when and if they break down?
Well for the Kelly Miller Circus his
name is Ron Schaaff and he is the best mechanic on the road that I know of. Only three breakdowns last year ('04) and so
far this year it looks like he may very well break his own record, because as
of today he has had zero breakdowns. Pretty amazing in my book. His work ethics
are outstanding and his motto like the marines is "leave no one
behind" He leaves his family for eight long months to make sure everyone
gets safely back to theirs at the end of the season. So if you get a chance to
go to the Kelly Miller Circus, stop in on Ron and say hi, and take a look at
the wonderful work he does.
