The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is a centre of teaching excellence for professional training in contemporary circus arts.
The
Institute opened its doors in February 2001 and produced the first
group of graduates from the degree program in December 2003. Training
is undertaken at NICA’s state-of-the-art Sidney Myer Circus Studio on
the Prahran Campus of Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Audition for the Bachelor of Circus Arts The
National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) is encouraging applications
from talented young people with a background in circus, gymnastics,
sports acrobatics, dance, trampolining, martial arts, performing arts
or physical theatre. NICA's Bachelor of Circus Arts is a 3 year full
time degree program that prepares students for national and
international careers in contemporary circus, traditional circus, stunt
work, corporate work, cruise ships, social circus, teaching and much
