Horses and Exotic Animals to Thunder Through the Streets of Baraboo Saturday June 25, 2005.
A great horse drawn Circus Parade with over 300 horses, 1200 costumed participants, hundreds of clowns, many bands, and scores of wild animals will travel the streets of Baraboo this coming Saturday. June 25th at begins the historic parade of highly gilded and decorated antique circus wagons. Wagons from yesteryear formerly appearing with such shows as Ringling, Gollmar, Cole, Barnum & Baily, Hagenbeck, Sells-Floto, and many, many more will make their way through the tree lined streets and historic downtown. Here is a scene which can not be recreated anywhere else in the world. A collection of historical circus parade wagons available for your viewing as they would have been presented many decades ago. “Children of all Ages” can relive or view for the first time this magnificent display of sights, sounds, and smells right here in Baraboo. The original home of the Ringling Brothers Circus, this town and its supporters are making available to you this remarkable experience.
