OABA announces educational program to inform the public about the proper and appropriate use of exotic animals in entertainment.
OABA MOVES TO CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS /EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM As reported in the January/February 2006 edition of ShowTime, the Outdoor Amusement Business Association ("OABA") has retained Rodney Huey to create a public awareness and educational campaign for the proper and appropriate use of exotic animals in entertainment. Huey, a Phd and former Vice President for Feld Entertainment, has an impressive resume in public relatiions. His expertise should produce effective copy to inform the public and legsilators about exotic animals in entertainment. This commitment by OABA should reassure CFA membes that their financial support of the OABA Circus Fund is being put to beneficial use.
