May 1 - 30 - the ELEPHANT HOTEL As You See It!
A community display organized by Somers Library & Somers Historical Society,
May 13 - June 11 "The Elephant Hotel on Review"
Exhibit of Elephant Hotel bluebird houses on view throughout Somers business community. A collaborative effort between Heritage Hills Woodcraft Club, Somers Historical Society and Somers artists.
June 11 - 1:30 pm Historical presentation
- Historical presentation about the Elephant Hotel given by Architectural Historian Neil Larson.
- Silent Auction birdhouses from "Elephant Hotel on Review". Proceeds benefit 50th Anniversary Programs of Somers Historical Society
May 13 - Formal dedication of the Elephant Hotel as a National Historic Landmark
- 1:30 pm Procession from Firemen's Field
- 2:00 pm Elephant Hotel
May 13 Exhibit Opening
