I hope you all saw the blurb about the Bette Leonard Fund on page 7 of the May/June WHITE TOPS. This fund, filled by CFA "Do-gooders," is nearing a thousand dollars.
The money will be used to bring to the Chicago Convention a deserving CFA member or a former performer who otherwise would be unable to attend. Besides Bette Leonard, in past years Mary Jo Couls and Agnes King have attended conventions, enjoying their fellow fans' generosity.
We are currently collecting money for this year's recipient in the process of being chosen. We still welcome your help.
