The Ohio CFA Sells Bros. Top had its annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio on June 17.
The 35 or so members then had a backyard tour of the Big Apple Circus, conducted by Don Covington. Barry Lubin, Grandma, and other performers visited with the fans in the backyard. Following the tour the show folks were treated to cake, cream puffs, and candy buckeyes. A cake honoring Max Binders 19th birthday was also served. The Ohio fans then presented Big Apple
Circus founder and artistic director Paul Binder with a presentation ring master's whistle.
The finale of the day was the 4 o'clock performance of the Big Apple
