Sara Gruen, author of several previous best selling books didn't expect her Circus Book "Water for Elephants", to become a Best Seller. But it did!
Sara Gruen, author of several previous best selling books didn't expect her Circus Book "Water for Elephants", to become a Best Seller. But it did! "They told me that circus books don't sell...." Sara said to me. To which I replied that they do, that I could list the people who'd buy them. "Water for Elephants", written by Ms Gruen last summer, had some help with details from this writer and with photographs by Tim Tegge, both long time circus fans. Ms Gruen was attracted to the circus by the Kelty photograph book. "The pictures of the circus with thousands of employees got my attention" said Ms Gruen, I couldn't believe it....." Hungry for details, Sara traveled to Florida and Wisconsin buying up circus books, and making friends with circus fans. "Water for Elephants" is now on virtually every book store shelf, and has made many best seller lists, including the NY TIMES BEST SELLER LIST. "Water for Elephants" is up for two QUILL AWARDS.
