2007 will be a monumental year for the Charlie Smith Tent. With the tent raising on November 7, 1977 in Aurora, IL. The Thirty Year Celebration starts with the Charlie Smith Luncheon in Sarasota, FL., Monday, January 29, 2007 . Come out and honor Charlie Smith our tent namesake and his wonderful wife Kitty. Always a large crowd of performers, circus staffers and fans attend this circus happening with Charlie and Kitty our premier guests. The luncheon will be held at the Sarasota Cay Club (formerly Holiday Inn). The setting will be casual waterfront dining in the Latitudes Room, beginning at 11:30 AM. There will be a special luncheon menu to order from with prices ranging from $7.97 to $8.95 .
