Long time!!! Good news here!
As some of you know I was one of the original Co-Founders of "Clown Care"
through The Big Apple Circus over 20 years ago with Michael Christensen.
Clowns, dress up like doctors, visit kids and their parents in hospitals.
Cool!
On Monday February 5th, between 8-9am, I will be featured on the Today Show
with Meredith Vieira as clown doctors. 5-6 minute mini documentary. She
spent the week with us following on clown rounds, joined our rehearsal, did
costumes and make-up and learned classic hospital clown routines and
yesterday she and I went to my hospital and did rounds. WOW! That was a
lot of fun. She was so good that I feel sure in saying that it has to a
great piece about the work. This was the first time ever that someone,
other than us, walked those halls in the big shoes.
