I am pleased to announce the addition of Recruiters to our CFA Membership Committee. For too long we have settled for signing new people by accident. We shall now move into a period of agressive recruitment, not settling for merely sustaining our numbers!
Tom Kopf has accepted appointment to the Membership Committee as our official Recruiting Captain! Tom's expertise happens to be recruiting! A fine example of how CFA can tap into its resources to insure the next generation of circus fans! I have asked Tom to help us craft a plan to expand our committee with the addition of recruiters organized by logistics, geography, need, and industry. I also wish to announce the addition of CFA member Barbara Moore, of Maine, as a regular committee member. This is an effort to enlarge the committee. We have a lot of work to do. We are adding people who have either a track record of being results oriented, or are simply chomping at the bit to see CFA's expansion happen. Barbara is BOTH! Tom & Barbara join the committee, consisting of Dave Orr, Cherie Valentine, Barbara Kopf, Sara Gordon, and myself. Please join me in welcoming these fans to the committee. Show your support. Let's not lose track of our greatest recruiting asset - EACH of us! Each of us is a walking talking CFA recruiter. We do not seek to replace that basic idea. We seek to fuel and support it. Tom will lead this committee in setting up a network of members focused upon recruitment! We do not intend to settle for merely sustaining our numbers. We have already demonstrated that we can do better. We intend to surpass our high water mark and keep going. Come to Hershey and find out how high we think we can go!
