Circus Fan, Mike Lubin, collects Walter L. Main Circus Memorabilia.
WALTER L. MAIN REMEMBERED
New CFA Member, Mike Lubin of Madison, Ohio, is a collector of Walter L. Main Circus Memorabilia. Madison is next door to Geneva, Ohio which was the winter home of the Walter L. Main Circus. In an effort to make residents of Geneva aware of the town’s circus heritage, Mike suggested to the owner of Victoria’s Country Corner, Ltd. that he display his Walter L. Main memorabilia in her store which is located on the town square. The response to the collection is unbelievable and has created traffic for the store. According to Mike, people came in saw the collection and wanted to buy circus memorabilia. Victoria wanted to respond to her customers requests so beginning May 3 she has an inventory of circus memorabilia for sale. The Mills Bros. Circus winter quartered at the Ashtabula County Fair Grounds for several years and for sale are posters from the Mills Bros. Circus when they played Madison and Jefferson, Ohio. The Walter L. Main collection and sale items can be seen at: Victoria’s Country Corner, Ltd, 19 North Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041- (440)-466-7236.
