Dear friends,....
Join us in bringing the joy of
circus to the children
of Palestine !!!
The Palestinian Circus School is for
the moment training 120 children and youth on a weekly basis in Ramallah, Hebron
and Jenin. We teach the participants circus arts like juggling, balance,
acrobatics, trapeze and rope.
For the moment we have two trainers
working full time in the circus school. But we're looking for more trainers that
can work either full- or part time with us.
What do we expect from a
trainer?
·
interest and patience in the work with children and
youth
·
some
background from either sports, dance, theatre or circus
·
sense of responsibility and willingness to learn and
cooperate
What can a trainer expect from the
Palestinian Circus School?
·
learn to perform circus arts
·
learn pedagogical methods
·
salary for the hours of teaching in our projects
Are you or do you know anyone that
could be interested in this work? We are in particular looking for female
trainers, but both guys and girls are welcome.
If you don't see yourself as a circus
trainer, but still would like to contribute to the work of the Palestinian
Circus School, we also need help with several administrative and practical
tasks.
