Zembo Shrine Circus...........WOW ! what a fantastic circus produced by the Hamid Circus Corp. The 61st annual Zembo Shrine Circus opened to the circus overture under the direction of Mr. Charlie Schlarbaum and the All American Ringmaster Kimball Keller. Kimball has such a way with the crowds wherever he goes, his commanding voice draws the crowds attention in anticipation of what is yet to come. This years show brought performers from all over the country including the Fabulous Darnells and Company with their magic and poodle follies, Cousin Grumpy and his pork chop review, Victoria Grimmy ( Schwartzman) doing Hoola Hoops and the Silks, The Rolling Globe Daredevils The Compos Family, The Rossaire Bears, Shrine Clowns and the fantactically funny Mr. Greg Desanto. The show lasted about two hours with a 20 minute intermission which included a moon bounce, slide and face painting. A pony sweep would have really cleaned up with the excellent crowds that attended. As a circus fan its always great to be able to report on such a good show. Kimball Keller execudes professionalism and expertiese introducing the acts, pitches and making the audience feel like a part of the circus family. The Zembo Shriners could not have been nicer. The show was in the Zembo Shrine building which was quite lovely and a nice change from the dirt floor at the farm building. The Hamid family has outdone themselves once again with this show.............I look forward to attending many more of their first class shows. Sincerely, Adam Smith Circus Fan
