Does circus skill classes at schools
Saphia's Circus is based in Nottingham, and travels around school and organisations in Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties.
We visit schools for one full day, setting up in a school hall. Each class spends an agreed amount of time with us learning Circus Skills. We normally begin each session with a brief introduction to the equipment, followed by a short warm up. For the remainder of the time, the children use the items which we provide whilst individual assistance is given to the children. Subject to the weather, I can spend a part of the dinner break in the playground doing "double skipping" and other outdoor activities if required. This would then be followed by four workshops - one evening a week after school, culminating in a show performed by the children.
