Youth Circus School
The ZipZap circus school, based in Cape Town is a unique organization in South Africa that utilizes the challenging medium of circus arts training and performance for the purpose of educational outreach and youth development of South African Children. The school also comprises a corporate aspect whereby we provide skilled riggers and stunt performers for business and the film industry.
Beginning in 1992, ZipZap set out through the guidance and dedication of its founders, Brent van Rensburg and Laurence Esteve, to enhance the lives of young people who would otherwise not be exposed to the magic of the performing arts, equip children with the necessary skills needed to embark on a path of sustainable living, as well as enhance their self esteem, self-expression and a mutual respect for all members of society.
