The circus is coming...
Do something you have dreamt about all your life and you will experience something you had never ever dreamed of. This sentence inspired us to give birth to this project.
A new millenium has started and a new star in the circus sky is born.
For the first time a real circus performs in Singapore accompanied by an international artist ensemble.
By ship and plane we have transported tons of material from the heart of Europe -from Switzerland- to Asia.
We of the Taipan Circus have the great privilege to live other dreams. Although circus life is not always easy it has a magic which has enchanted us. Let yourself be transported into the magical world and travel with us through a world of dreams and fantasy.
In Europe and America circus history reaches way back to 1774 when Philip Astley first ground an open arena in England. So the circus was born.
Even in Switzerland there are circus dynasties which are travelling as clowns and acrobats since 1437.
This honest art has survived for centuries and we hope to continue with this tradition.
With our choreographs we have put together a brilliant mix of classic and modern circus.
Out of single acts we have created a theme blend of beguiling music, fantastic costumes and unbelievable light effects into an amazing show.
