Felix Morales Tent No. 85 met in Albany with some forty fans in attendance.  The Billy Martin Tent No. 142 held a luncheon at a local restaurant and then adjourned to Paul and Lois Horsman’s and visited their circus room.  It is sad to note that during the year a longtime New York fan and tent member Robert Treat of Elmira passed away.  The Ward Hall-Lee Stevens Family Tent No. 169 members attended the Annual “SUGARFEST” held during the RBBB date and devoted both time and money into Ward Hall’s, induction into Ring of Fame, Sarasota.  Received a limited report from John Herriott Tent No. 101 members except T-shirts can be purchased by fans.  Pedro Carrillo Tent No. 145 met at Lake George and Don Erienbusen was the speaker.  Don, has and extensive circus collection and spoke on his collection.

Gordon Turner continues to write letters to the editors in defense of the circus and to each of the 15 Albany Council Members. Both Gordon and Steve Partyka handed out some 4,000 animal welfare folders at the Ringling Albany performances and with the help of Peg Earl repeated the same in Glen Falls on the Gold Unit.  Don Horowitz, does the same on Long Island except Don conducts his Circus Animal Survey with the public.

The circus attendance in New York State fairs continues to draw thousands through the turnstiles, various circus lots and buildings in New York State.  Ringling Bros.
