Physical Theater Incorporating Various Art Forms
In the histories of Herodotus, the Cabiri are spirits which are encountered on the Isle of Samothrace in the Mediterranean. Further research brings us to the steppes of Anatolia where we see the Cabiri worshipped as fire genii.
Coming from a diverse lineage, the goal of The Cabiri is the integration of as many schools of theatre as possible into our performance.
When the human form is not enough to tell the tale, we use puppets and prosthetics to create characters with supernatural presence.
For modern purposes The Cabiri are a performance troupe which specializes in storytelling through physical theatre. Forming out of the diverse needs of The Anunnaki Project, they have become a new breed of storytellers in the arena of performance art.
