Der Zauberwalds - Show

http://www.zauberwald.de

A musical in which horses became the stars... With the start of the first tour in 1996 in Cologne of the Pferde palast’s production " Der Zauberwald,”, blossomed the start of a new show-business trend: A musical with horses integrated into the story-line, a new dimension, a world premier that had never been seen before. Everything began with an idea. An idea that two men dedicating their lives to animals, in particular horses, had always dreamt about, each in their own particular way. The first, Franz Althoff. Always respected and admired for his remarkable entertainment with the highest possible standard of nouveau. The other, Gunther Fröhlich. Who in the past toured though Germany and was greatly praised for his horse-shows "Fascination der Traumpferde” and "Der Zauberbaum” . From a good idea grew a concrete plan. Here, to aid in the dream’s realisation entered the third partner Gino Edwards. Nobody could foresee how the audience would react to the first part of "the Zauberwald". A musical in which horses became the stars of the show. The results more than met the original expectations. During the three year tour through Germany and the Netherlands, the show became an audience best-seller, with shows continuously being sold out. What could come more naturally than to expand and build on a completely new concept borne from an innovative idea. Look forward to the second part of the show and accompany Angie the fairy and her friends on their adventure through the world of fantasy.
